The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is located in the Middle East and consists of seven Emirati states.  It's geographically positioned at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula along the Arabian Sea and borders Saudi Arabia and Oman while sharing maritime borders with Qatar and Iran.

Its most famous states and cities are Dubai and Abu Dhabi which border each other.  Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE and is also the capital of the Emirate, Abu Dhabi.  Dubai is the most populous city of the UAE and is also the capital city of the Emirate, Dubai.

Visit Abu Dhabi to see the Grand Mosque, the Palace, and the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix on YAS Island.  Go to Dubai and see the Burj Khalifa, Jumeirah Palm Island and go snow skiing.  You'll find luxury shopping all over both Emirates and thrill rides in the UAE's Desert Park.
