For Bubbly Tourist, it's the history that stands out when thinking about our time spent in Greece.  There are also the beautiful islands of Greece with whitewashed buildings surrounded by gorgeous waters that is certainly a stunning attraction as well.  Then there's all the amazing food and wine that lasts in the memory too.  There's so much to see and do in this beautiful country that it is most definitely worth the visit.

We begin in Athens as this ancient city is a major port of entry whether it be by plane of by boat.  The Parthenon that sits atop the Acropolis is by far the largest attraction.  The history that goes back 3500 years is mind boggling and Athens makes the perfect place to begin your visit of Greece.

If the islands of Greece are your destination, there's plenty from which to choose.  Whether it's Corfu, the white washed islands of Mykonos or Santorini or beyond, or one of the islands reachable via a short ferry ride from Athens, there are multiple excellent choices.

Venture further into the mainland and explore the Apollo Sanctuary at Delphi, the monasteries of Meteora, or the second largest Greek city of Thessaloniki to get your fill of ancient history and more in spectacular fashion.
