Austria

The stunningly beautiful country of Austria is located in Central Europe and lies in the Eastern Alps.  It is bordered by Germany to the northwest, Czech Republic to the north, Slovakia to the northeast, Hungary to the east, Slovenia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the west.

Bubbly Tourist is lucky enough to have traveled here twice within the last year.  Each time, we are reminded of why we came back.  It is pristine, it is mountainous, it's lush and green, it has beautiful lakes and architecture, and it's home to Vienna and Salzburg.

Vienna, Austria's capital, is known as the "City of Music" because of its classical music legacy and the "City of Dreams" because of Freud.

Salzburg, a much smaller city than Vienna, epitomizes the beauty of Austria in one romantic snapshot.  It is here, in the birthplace of Mozart and the stage for the Sound of Music, that we share the top things to see and do with you.
